HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Bottoms up. Prohibition officially began 100 years ago, on Jan. 17, 1920, with a national ban (with a few notable exceptions) on the production and consumption of alcoholic beverages. It was, to be kind, an exercise in dramatic unintended consequences.
